What Is 4EC?

East End Education Enrichment Coalition (4EC) was founded in December 2004 to supplement children's school education on the East End. The mission of the 4EC is to pool monetary and human resources in support of education enrichment programs. The coalition pursues programming in all categories, including math, science, technology, fine arts, performing arts, sports, career planning, and more. Programs are for all grades from kindergarten through 12th grade.

4EC members seek to:

1. Share and compare the best of what is being done or planned.

2. Identify opportunities for member organizations to collaborate in order to avoid duplication, attract a bigger audience, and stretch funds.

3. Sponsor four to six programs a year as a 4EC coalition. These should bring something to the community that isn't being offered by anyone else.
